We all know that relationships matter. As client services professionals, we strive to ensure our clients are happy. As media relations professionals, we make sure our contacts are treated well.
As I reflect on Super Mobility Week, I realize that the most successful part of the trade show was the high fives, the hugs, the handshakes and the hours in the small conference rooms. We’re not full time employees of the clients we work with and we miss a lot of opportunities to have face time. So, when you have the opportunity to spend time with your clients, the media that cover them and the industry as a whole, you take it.
The trade show simply doesn’t matter. But the ability to connect in person is priceless.
