Each year, one in four males will suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year. For Voxus, that is at least three of the 13 males working here.

One in seven men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer at some point in their lives. For Voxus, that’s two of us.

But that can change. By being able to help men be aware of themselves and the issues we face, we can begin to approach prevention and discovery of prostate cancer, testicular cancer and the myriad of mental health issues that males are more prone to experience.

This is why the men of Voxus are banding together to participate in #Movember. You can donate to Team Voxstache now!

Team Voxstache ready at the start of #Movember

The  reality is that a lot of us have a story about the issues facing men today. One member of Team Voxstache has seen a father and grandfather fight through prostate cancer. Others have seen the impacts of mental health issues.

The least we can do is to grow (and in some of our cases, attempt to grow) a mustache. The primary goal of all of this is to raise funds to support research, prevention and treatment of these significant health issues.

But at the end of the day, if you just click through to some of these resources and educate yourself about the realities around us, then that’s perfect.

Of course, you can also donate to Team Voxstache now too.

Here are some resources for those seeking more information:

According to Movember, prostate cancer is the second-most common cancer for males in the US.
