Last week, some members of the Voxus team went to the 2019 GeekWire Bash at the CenturyLink Field Event Center. This year, there were over 500 competitors from various local companies who attended the event and competed in ping pong, foosball, dodgeball, and Catan tournaments. We even saw a few familiar faces from companies we’ve worked with!

Just a few blocks away from our Seattle office, the GeekWire Bash had all sorts of fun activities from sumo wrestling and zip-lining, to VR arenas and photo booths. Once we checked in, of course we hit the free food, which was delicious, especially the corndogs and donuts. After grabbing some snacks, we checked out the vendors and scored some free swag. From T-shirts to tote bags, this year’s vendors didn’t disappoint.

For the third year in a row, the Voxus team competed in the event’s dodgeball tournament. And this year was the best one yet! Though we started out a bit rocky in our first game, (I blame the free corndogs), we re-strategized and came together as a team to win our second game. We took on three different teams and, in the end, we made it to the second round of the second chance bracket. For us, that was a huge win!

Be sure to check out the Voxus team’s photo from the event below. And head to the GeekWire website to check out more details about the event. Until next year – go Voxus!
