Tsavorite Sets New Frontier for AI Efficiency and Scale with the Omni Processing Unit
Rising above the AI funding noise, chip startup coming out of stealth tapped Voxus to help drive media coverage with a focus on customer traction.
In a world where AI-focused semiconductor startups regularly launch from stealth with 8-9 figure funding rounds, the bar for a new player to earn media attention has become incredibly high. But Tsavorite Scalable Intelligence wanted to do it differently. The company was introducing a new compute platform that combines CPU, GPU, memory and networking functionality in a single, composable package, called an Omni Processing Unit, that promises to radically increase AI processing performance and scalability while reducing cost and energy usage. At launch, rather than focusing on how much money it had raised, the company wanted to highlight interest among customers.
Ordinarily, not announcing funding would be a severe limitation to earning coverage for a company coming out of stealth, especially with Tier 1 business media. But with order commitments of more $100 million, Tsavorite had something many early-stage chip companies don’t – real market traction. Voxus developed a successful media strategy built around an exclusive with a Tier 1 business outlet and early access for top technology outlets.
